Dr. Kitty Carter-Wicker is a family medicine physician based in East Point, GA. She completed her transitional year internship at Emory University School of Medicine in 1992-1993 and her residency in family medicine at Morehouse School of Medicine from 1993 to 1995, having graduated from Morehouse in 1992. Her expertise includes wellness, and she has contributed publications on topics such as newborn circumcision techniques, diabetes, sickle cell disease, UTIs, OSCEs and trichomoniasis pharyngitis. Her work has been recognized by the National Committee for Quality Assurance, receiving both the Physician Practice Connections and Patient-Centered Medical Home Recognition Programs from 2012 to 2015. Dr. Carter-Wicker served as the Medical Director for the Clinical Skills Center and is presently, serving as the Medical Director for the Atlanta University Center Consortium (AUCC) Student Health and Wellness Center (SHWC).
