Summary
- My passion is for providing excellent valuable clinical care for patients. I provide this service through multiple mechanisms. My clinical background specializes in complex gynecology (endometriosis, fibroids, pelvic pain and disease). My specialized surgical fellowship provided the skill set to treat these diseases medically and surgically.
The next step in providing superb care is to pass along knowledge and skill set by educating medical students and residents. I have previously served as the Ob/Gyn Clerkship Director for medical students and plan to invest significantly in HCA Midwest Health's new Ob/Gyn Residency Program.
Valuable care must unite clinical competency and effective use of resources. To that end I am halfway through completion of an MBA at the University of Saint Mary's. My philosophy on medial care is that we should use all personnel to their highest level of training and provide a mechanism for evaluating current processes while identifying opportunities to advance care.
My desire is to combine medical education with the knowledge necessary to maneuver within current health systems and improve the health systems of the future. We do not need to reinvent the wheel only optimize with collaboration.
