Summary
- I am interested in improving the health of people in marginalized and/or underserved communities both nationally and internationally, with a special interest in infectious diseases and public health. I have training in anthropology, microbiology, epidemiology, program development, and family medicine with obstetrics. I would like to apply these skills to developing programs focused on sustainably preventing illness in rural and/or underserved areas (especially with homeless populations and people with intellectual and developmental disabilities), developing low resource diagnostics and/or interventions, and improving access to healthcare and healthy environments.
