Summary
- I practice clinical neonatology at the level 4 NICU at Nemours Children's Hospital - Delware and the level 3 Special Care Nursery at St. Francis Hospital. My administrative responsibilities include co-chairing the Committee for Professional Enhancement at Nemours as well as serving as the associate program director for our fellowship program in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine. My role in the Nemours NICU also includes being the physician sponsor of Nemours participation in the Children's Hospital Neonatal Consortium(CHNC) as well as a participant in the Ethics Committee. My research interest primarily focuses on efforts to utilize shared hospital data between level 4 NICUs to assess and evaluate uncommon outcomes. In this setting, I lead the CHNC's Palliative Care and Ethics (PACE) Focus Group and am an active participant in the CHNC's Surgical NEC focus group and a past member of the CI/QI team.
