Dr. Charlotten is pleased to care for the residents of Elmhurst and its surrounding communities. Dr. Charlotten has over fifteen years of experience caring for adults, infants and children. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM).
Prior to starting Q-Care Affordable Medical Care, Dr. Charlotten served as Medical Director at AHRC Health Care - an organization that among other services provides primary care to adults and children with intellectual and other developmental disabilities - from 2003 to 2008.
Dr. Charlotten graduated from Cornell University, College of Human Ecology, with a Bachelor of Science Degree in 1994. He attended the Stanford University School of Medicine and obtained his medical degree (MD) in 1998. He completed a three-year residency training program in family medicine at Beth Israel's Residency in Urban Family Practice. While there, he served as co-Chief Resident in Family Practice.
Upon completion of his residency, he served as Director of Inpatient Services for the Department of Family Medicine at Beth Israel Medical Center from 2001 - 2003. In that capacity, he cared for adults and children who were hospitalized at Beth Israel Medical Center.
