Summary
- I am board certified in Cardiology, adult echocardiography, nuclear cardiology and registered vascular technology. I am level 3 trained in echo and level 2 trained in CT angiography.
I was voted best intern and outstanding resident during my residency in Chicago. During residency, I wrote first-of-its-kind book on medical residency training that was published by McGraw-Hill. I am sole author of this book. It is sold across the world.
I was voted medical staff president in 2005.
Rotarians, churches, marines group have invited me for talks. Local papers and TV channels have interviewed me on medical issues. ‘ABC world News’ interviewed me for a story on use of generic drugs.
I hosted a weekly radio show on health issues for nearly 10 years. I have Facebook page, YouTube videos and a website, DrChander.com for patient education. These are all parts of my pro bono work.
Over last 11 years (2001-2012) of my cardiology practice, I have served communities of tri-state area (Utah, Nevada, Arizona) while practicing in St George, Utah. I am now starting my new practice in Las Vegas Nevada.
