- Dr. Kent Voorhees is a retired family physician and Emeritus Professor of Clinical Practice with the Department of Family Medicine, University of Colorado School of Medicine. He was previously the Vice Chair for Education and Chair of the Department's Appointments and Promotions Committee. In retirement he continues as an RPS (Residency Program Solutions) consultant with the AAFP, which he has been doing since 2010. He is an Advisor for the HRSA Grants of THCPD-TAC (Teaching Health Center Program Development Development-Technical Assistance Center) and the RRPD (Rural Residency Program Development). He primarily does financial and new program development consultations. He has more than 10 publications and 34 citings.
