Summary
- Dr. Wu is board-certified physician in anesthesiology and pain management. In order to better help pain patients with co-existing substance issues, he also recently obtained board certification in addiction medicine. He completed his medical education at Baylor College Medicine he went on to complete a fellowship at Rush Medical Center in Chicago. Prior to joining the practice, Dr. Wu was the director for the Geriatric Pain Center at UT Physicians Center for Healthy Aging as well as the chief interventional pain management specialist at Memorial Hermann TIRR Rehabilitation Institute.
Due to his vast past experiences, Dr. Wu has specific interests in neurological injuries of the peripheral nerves and the central nervous system as well persistent post-surgical pain syndromes. He is one of the nation’s leading experts in treating Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS) and is an adjunct professor with UT Physicians in the department of Anesthesiology.
