He has been in pulmonary critical care group practice since 1989 in the Houston Texas Medical Center as an associate professor of pulmonary medicine at Baylor College of Medicine. He specializes in multiple pulmonary disease conditions including critical care medicine, interstitial lung diseases, pulmonary vascular hypertension, and sleep medicine. He has intermittent publications on pulmonary disease states and lung transplantation. He teaches medical students, residents and pulmonary fellows clinical pulmonary. In 2016 he opened a second office location in Katy Texas to serve the suburbs of West Houston. He received a Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Houston in 2004 and serves a medical legal expert in pulmonary critical care assisting attorneys with proper medical interpretations and opinions regarding the standard of care as it applies to their clients. In August 2023 he joined The Kelsey-Seybold Medical Clinic where he has assisted in the growth of the Cypress and Katy West Grand pulmonary services for Kelsey patients.
