Kaylee Shepherd, MD, is an internal medicine specialist based in Amarillo, TX. She earned her MD in 2013 from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, where she was recognized with AOA and GHHS honors, and completed her internal medicine residency and chief residency at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. She holds a summa cum laude degree in Biomedical Sciences from Texas A&M University. Dr. Shepherd serves as an internist at Amarillo Medical Specialists and has faculty and hospitalist roles at the Thomas E. Creek Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center and Northwest Texas Healthcare System since 2018 and 2017, respectively. Additionally, she is an associate professor at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center at Amarillo. Previously, she served on the faculty at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center.
