Summary
- I am a practicing Internal Medicine physician at the end of my residency training that is hungry to solve the systemic care delivery and health equity challenges in our healthcare system as a clinician-leader.
Reflecting on my medical and business training, I have been humbled by my experiences working with colleagues inside and outside of medicine to improve the system through innovation, research and leadership. We have been able to leverage low-cost telemedicine to improve chronic care management of patients of all backgrounds, grow a nationwide non-profit organization aimed to unlock the innovative potential in students, optimize inpatient handoff workflows at multiple hospitals, and even find a way for hospitalized patients to see their loved ones during the COVID pandemic, among other accomplishments. I hope to continue solving our pressing clinical challenges while remaining grounded as a practicing clinician specializing in the care of hospitalized adults.
