Dr. Barami is a fellowship trained board certified neurosurgeon with many years of experience. He treats a broad range of neurosurgical disorders including tumors of the nervous system,traumatic brain/spine injuries and degenerative spine disorders. He favors a minimally invasive approach whenever possible. Dr. Barami is passionate about listening to patients’ needs, evaluating their conditions, and educating them so they may make informed decisions. While doing this, he strives to explain conditions and treatments in simple terms.
He graduated from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and completed his internship at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York. He completed neurosurgical training in Michigan and is also fellowship trained in surgical neuro-oncology and complex spine surgery. He earned a PhD in Neuroscience from Cornell University Medical college and has published numerous articles in peer reviewed journals.
Dr. Barami continues to research ways to improve clinical outcomes. He has also participated in international medical mission trips. His principal aim is to deliver the best neurosurgical care to his patients in the most compassionate way.
