I am a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner with eight years' experience in both the outpatient and corrections settings. I am currently the sole psychiatric provider at the largest jail in Colorado where I treat and stabilize complex cases including the severely mentally ill. In my first year at the jail, assaults decreased by over 240%.

In the outpatient setting, I specialize in bipolar disorder, depression, anxiety, ADD/ADHD, PTSD, and hormone imbalance. I utilize a collaborative patient approach as well as lab work, pharmacogenetic testing, cognitive techniques, bioidentical hormone replacement therapy, and active listening to investigate any underlying causes for distress.

In addition, I served in the U.S. Army Reserves for 22 years as a medic and a nurse where I was repeatedly recognized and advanced for meritorious service.
