Summary
- I am a board certified neurosurgeon currently employed as Clinical Assistant Professor with the Department of Neurological Surgery at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. I am part of the growing effort to incorporate UPMC resources in the northern regions of Pennsylvania. I look forward to serving the community.
I will primarily practice at Passavant with privileges also at Presbyterian, Mercy and Shadyside.
I am originally from the East Coast. I grew up in New Jersey where I returned for my graduate studies. I completed an accelerated Master's of Biomedical Sciences in 2007 with the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. In 2011, I completed my Medical Doctorate with Robert Wood Medical School (now Rutgers University). From 2011 to 2018 I completed neurosurgical residency with this department; I served as Chief Resident in my final year.
To further my expertise, I completed a Complex Spinal Neurosurgery fellowship with Goodman Campbell Brain and Spine as well as Indiana University School of Medicine Department of Neurological Surgery. I was fortunate to gain additional experience particularly in adult and pediatric deformity surgery as well as peripheral nerve techniques.
I look forward to connecting with new colleagues through this and other digital avenues. I am happily accepting new patients at each of the campuses that I serve.
