Dr. Kathryn (Gilliland) Cillessen is an internal medicine specialist based in Dallas, TX, with subspecialties in clinical informatics. She completed her residency in internal medicine at the University of Iowa (Des Moines) from 2001 to 2004, following her graduation from the University of Kansas School of Medicine in 2001. She became board certified in Informatics in 2016. Dr. Cillessen is currently a Physician Informaticist at the Department of Veterans Affairs and serves as Director of Integrated Health Practice in the national Office of Health Informatics. She has previously served the VA as CHIO at the VA in Dallas, Texas and as hospitalist and primary care physician at the VAs in Wichita and Topeka, Kansas.
