  • I am board certified in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology and Metabolism. I have spent 17 yrs in Academics and have Achieved Professor with Tenure Status at the University of New Mexico due to excellence in Teaching, Research, and Clinical Care.
    I then moved to a Private Practice setting with one Partner for >5 yrs
    I was successful in managing a busy practice seeing between 15-20 patients a day, performing Thyroid Biopsies and Teaching Family Medicine Residents.
    I have also worked in a rural hospital based center and a Multidisciplinary outpatient center.
    I have specific interest in working with underserved patient populations and communities including Transgender Care.
