Summary

• Dr. Katherine Washington is a family nurse practitioner in Shreveport, LA and is affiliated with Fast PACE Urgent and Primary Care Clinic. This platform is utilized to provide expertise Urgent and Primary Care/Preventative Care in areas in which access to healthcare is limited and/or there is a significant underserved population within the community. However, the organization also provides the same services to ALL those who seek medical care within the Fast PACE clinical establishment. Fast PACE also provides additional services within the facility which include; behavioral health, led by a team of LPCs, LCSWs, and Psychiatric specialist, on-site x-ray services, and state of the art Telehealth services. Katherine is also closely affiliated with specialist at Minden Medical Center, Highland Hospital and MD Clinics, Oshner's and Willis Knighton Health Centers. She specializes in preventive medicine, primary care, urgent care, chronic care management and behavioral health medication management in which the ultimate goal is to provide wholistic care and be a driving force within todays' Primary Care Practice. The sole purpose of bringing this approach into a primary care practice allows the concept of 'integrative practice' to become a true reality, not just a concept, as well as hands on routine daily workflow in which the 'new norm' is integrative, not exclusive. Meanwhile, those most underserved are then given additional access to healthcare and continuity of care. In addition, growth is exponential with overall advancement of ones' medical practice. Most importantly and above all else, the community will experience a positive uplift because there is accessible and high quality healthcare services which enhance and enrich the lives and overall outcomes for the patient and the community abroad.
