• Kartik Mani, MD, is a board-certified interventional cardiologist practicing at Midwest Heart and Vascular Specialists in Overland Park, Kansas. Dr. Mani has a long and distinguished career in both academic and community practices. In addition to a robust career in publishing extensively on the cellular basis of heart attacks and heart failure as well as national guidelines documents, he has established multiple high-risk coronary intervention as well as vascular programs. Throughout his career, he has helped build programs to provide non-surgical options to patients with advanced cardiac and vascular disease who are not candidates for open surgery.
