She received her medical degree from Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai NYU and then trained at Brigham&Women’s Hospital in both internal medicine and endocrinology where she also served as faculty physician and instructor at Harvard Medical School.
Dr. Pou currently leads the thyroid nodule and endocrine tumor program at UNC-CH where she is an Associate professor in medicine. She has been in practice over 15 years. She also speaks multiple languages, including Spanish. She specializes in thyroid and endocrine tumors including parathyroid and adrenal disorders.
