- Karl Doghramji MD is Professor of Psychiatry, Neurology, and Medicine at Sidney Kimmel Medical Center and Director of the Jefferson Sleep Disorders Center in Philadelphia, PA. He is affiliated with Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals. He received his medical degree from Sidney Kimmel Medical College, and his residency training at the University of Pennsylvania and Thomas Jefferson University, both in Philadelphia, and Albert Einstein School of Medicine in NY. He has been engaged in clinical practice, research and teaching in sleep medicine and psychiatry since 1984. He is experienced in diagnosis and management of sleep disorders including sleep apnea, narcolepsy, restless legs syndrome, various circadian rhythm disorders, parasomnias, and others. He also has extensive experience in psychopharmacology, phototherapy, utilization of respiratory and other devices for sleep apnea, upper airway stimulation therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, among others.
