Summary

• Dr. Fahmy is a Pain Management physician at University Pain Consultants. He completed his Pain Management Fellowship training at the University of California, Los Angeles/West LA VA. He completed his Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) residency training at the University of California, Irvine, where he was elected Chief Resident by the department. He received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree at Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, CA, along with his Master of Science (MS) degree. He is local to Southern California where he attended college at the University of California, Irvine for his Bachelor of Science degree.
  
  He has experience with ultrasound and fluoroscopic guided injections and advanced procedures for back pain, neck pain, knee pain, shoulder pain, hip pain, elbow/wrist/hand pain, foot/ankle pain, fibromyalgia, CRPS, migraines, and abdominal/pelvic pain. His background in PM&R is unique in that he can perform EMG/NCS (nerve studies) and see patients with a history of stroke, TBI, SCI, or spasticity in addition to musculoskeletal conditions.
