Summary

  • Board Certified Internist who has done it all--private practice with a very busy practice caring for hospitalized patients and in my clinic. I've also been employed, and for the last 10 years I've been an independent contractor care for people with chronic, non-cancer pain. This is a very demanding area of practice with many challenges, including providing safe, effective reduction of pain, and careful alertness to any signs of misuse or diversion. It's also very rewarding, as in the 70 year old who finally told me, "for the first time in twenty years, I finally slept through the night."
