Summary
- I am an Attending Psychiatrist on the Psychiatric Consultation-Liaison Service at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center and an Assistant Professor of Clinical Psychiatry at Weill Cornell Medical College. I supervise and teach medical students, residents, and fellows performing psychiatric consultations on patients in medical and surgical settings and conduct psychiatric evaluations for patients being considered for heart transplant. I maintain a faculty practice treating numerous mental health concerns incorporating psychotherapy and/or psychopharmacology. My experience extends beyond general psychiatry, with special interest in treating mental health conditions in medical illness, Long Covid, and athletes. I am engaged in various teaching activities, including ethics courses, psychiatric interview courses, psychiatry board studying lectures, and consultation-liaison psychiatry lectures for trainees at varying levels.
