Summary
- I practice minimally invasive surgery (including bariatric, foregut, abdominal wall, and general/GI surgery -- laparoscopic, robotic, and open) at Bellevue Hospital Center and lead research aimed at improving the quality and value of surgery and obesity care.
My research is supported by the NYU Clinical and Translational Science Institute's KL2 Scholars program.
I received my residency training in general surgery at Brigham and Women's Hospital and my fellowship in minimally invasive, bariatric, and foregut surgery at Massachusetts General Hospital. I received my postdoctoral research training as a National Clinician Scholar at the University of Michigan's Institute for Healthcare Policy and Innovation.
