  • Justin Reynard Smith, M.D., M.B.A., is originally from Nashville, Tennessee and completed his undergraduate and medical school education at Vanderbilt University. After experiencing the limitations in delivering person-centered care within the US healthcare system, he decided to take a three year leave of absence to obtain a Master's in Business Administration at Harvard Business School (HBS). Dr. Smith completed a residency in psychiatry at Columbia University Medical Center (NewYork-Presbyterian and New York State Psychiatric Institute). Following his residency, he completed the Public Psychiatry Fellowship at Columbia, and is now pursuing his mission to improve healthcare delivery systems. In addition to healthcare delivery management and advocacy activities, Dr. Smith continues to provide direct psychiatric services to patients.
