Summary
- I completed my undergraduate education at the University of Idaho in 2008, earning a Bachelor of Science in Biology before attending University of Utah College of Medicine. I graduated with my medical degree in 2014, followed by a General Surgery Residency at Penn State Hershey Medical Center. During my residency, I completed a two-year research fellowship in the Division of Minimally Invasive and Bariatric Surgery specifically focusing on abdominal wall reconstruction and hernia surgery. I completed my surgical residency in 2021, and I am currently training as a minimally invasive and flexible endoscopic surgical fellow at The Ohio State Wexner Medical Center. This fellowship consists of a clinical year that focuses primarily on advanced therapeutic endoscopic techniques such as endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography and abdominal wall reconstruction (both open and minimally invasive).
