Summary
- I am a residency trained, board certified Emergency Medicine physician. I specialize in prehospital emergency medicine (EMS). My skill set includes leadership in EMS and running urban ems systems including communications, logistics, operations, finance, human resources and planning of mass events and disaster preparedness.
I have also worked in the private sector as the Medical Director for Clinical Affairs for two large device manufacturing companies with an assignment in Europe building a clinical affairs team across EMEA.
I have been associated with an academic emergency medicine department for most of my career at LSU Emergency Medicine in New Orleans until four years ago when I relocated to Alexandria VA. I am currently working in a critical access hospital in rural Virginia for Riverside Health System.
