- Dr. Brownley completed medical school and PhD program at University of Maryland Medical Center and completed residency training at Johns Hopkins Hospital. Dr. Brownley prioritizes using the fewest medications possible to achieve symptom remission and encourages non-pharmacologic interventions as part of her treatment plans. As a reproductive psychiatrist, Dr. Brownley has expertise in psychiatric disorders and their treatment in the setting of menstrual cycles, pregnancy, postpartum and menopause.

Dr. Brownley is passionate about ending this disparity in the field of psychiatry by training providers in women's psychiatry and dedicating her career to the treatment of women's mental health.
