• Julie is Board Certified as an Adult-Gerontological Nurse Practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). She is also certified as a Psychiatric- Mental Health Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She began her career as an Army Nurse. Over her career in healthcare, she has worked in various medical settings to include radiology, Medical-Surgical nursing, nursing in an Army field hospital, post-partum, step-down ICU, post-anesthesia care, hospice, case management, and caring for Veterans. Her academic background consists of a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from Pacific Lutheran University, a Master’s Degree in Healthcare Administration from the University of Phoenix, a Post-Master’s Certificate in the Adult Nurse Practitioner Program at Maryville University and a Post-Master's Certificate in Psychiatric-Mental Health from Regis College. She has a passion for mental health and enjoys supporting and getting to know her patients. In her free time, she enjoys running, cycling, reading, hiking, being in nature, and spending time with family and all of her many pets.
