  • Dr. Julia W. Tripple earned her medical degree at The University of Texas Medical Branch. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine at the Tinsley Harrison Internal Medicine Residency at The University of Alabama in Birmingham, and she returned back to UTMB to complete her Fellowship in Allergy and Immunology. She joined UTMB faculty in 2016 as an Assistant Professor for the Division of Allergy and Immunology and serves as the Medical Director for the adult Allergy and Immunology clinics at UTMB.

    Dr. Tripple graduated with honors from Bucknell University in Lewisburg, PA in 2005 obtaining degrees in both Biology and Philosophy and is a member of Phi Beta Kappa honor society. As a medical student, Dr. Tripple was elected into the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society and received the Glasgow-Rubin Achievement Citation from the American Medical Women’s Association.

    Dr. Tripple is a Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Allergy and Immunology and is a member of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, & Immunology (AAAAI), the American College of Allergy, Asthma, & Immunology (ACAAI), and the Texas Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology Society (TAAIS).

    Dr. Tripple cares for patients with a variety of allergic and immunologic diseases and has particular interest in nasal allergies and immunotherapy (allergy shots), asthma, drug allergies and chronic hives/angioedema. Her focus is on providing patient-centered, evidence based medicine.
