Summary
- I am a current MD student of the class of 2023 at the University of Arizona COM in Tucson. Prior to medical school I tried my hand at teaching adult cycling education, coaching, teaching English in Indonesia as a Peace Corps Volunteer, administrative management for a non-profit, and documenting for a PCP. When I next have a good bit of time, I want to plan another off-road bike tour and finish some knitting projects I have going. My hope after graduation is to enter an IM residency that has a solid primary care focus and challenges me to learn rural medicine and become comfortable with a variety of procedures, complex patient presentations, and thinking on my feet. After residency I will practice primary care in AZ for 4 years as part of a state scholarship program I was selected for and think I would like to work in the northern part of the state on reservation land.
