After earning her Medical Degree from Javeriana University in 1988, Dr. Munoz completed her internship and residency at Baylor College of Medicine in 1996. She then received a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Community Medicine from Baylor College of Medicine in 1997.
Since then, Dr. Munoz joined Kelsey-Seybold Clinic and has been one of the pioneer physicians at the Breast Diagnostic Center where she works exclusively to care for her patients.
Dr. Munoz is an active member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, The American Board of Family Practice, The Texas Academy of Family Physicians and the Harris County Medical Society among others.
Her clinical interests are Women’s Health, Breast Cancer and Breast Diseases.
