- I am a board certified general surgeon and fellowship trained bariatric surgeon with an accomplished, versatile and solid career history employing medical expertise within hospital and clinical settings. My particular aptitude is in bariatric, robotic, minimally invasive, general, and advanced endoscopy specializations. To date, I’ve completed fellowships and residencies with such noteworthy hospitals as Northwestern Memorial, Tampa General, and Cook County Hospitals.
My professional foundation was in serving in the US Navy; through which I refined relationship management and cultural awareness skills. I possess additional qualifications in emergency response as a paramedic.
I am an active researcher with a lengthy repertoire of publications, presentations, and ongoing projects. My current research focus in in metabolic surgery, virtual reality applications in surgery, and telemedicine.
I am licensed to practice in the states of Illinois and Florida and I am eager to employ my diverse skill set to aid healthcare organizations in need.
