Overview of  Dr. Viles-Gonzalez

Juan Viles-Gonzalez, M.D., FACC, FAHA, FEHRA, FHRS, is a cardiologist who specializes in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of cardiac arrhythmias. He has distinctive training and expertise in cardiac electrophysiology, making him uniquely qualified to assess the heart's electrical system and activity and diagnose and treat abnormal heartbeats, or arrhythmias. Dr. Viles-Gonzalez conducts clinical research in his specialty to increase the efficacy of treatments and improve patient outcomes. He is widely published in peer-reviewed scientific journals and textbooks and is an invited speaker at national and international cardiology conferences. He serves on the editorial boards of the Journal of the American College of Cardiology and Heart Rhythm Journal and as a reviewer for several other medical publications. Dr. Viles-Gonzalez has extensive teaching and mentoring experience and has been honored with several teaching awards. He is fluent in English and Spanish.
