- I am a board certified Nephrologist and Internist. I completed Medical School at the Universidad Nacional De Colombia; Internal Medicine training at John H. Stroger Hospital of Cook County in Chicago, and Nephrology fellowship at the University of Chicago. I am devoted to patient care and I am passionate about nephrology in general (e.g. hypertension, glomerulonephritis, acid base disorders, kidney stones), with a special interest in the management of chronic kidney disease and taking care of patients on dialysis, particularly on Peritoneal Dialysis.
