- I am a pediatric endocrinologist within the Division of Endocrinology at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital. I earned my medical degree from Universidad Libre in Cali, Colombia. I completed a residency in pediatrics at Nicklaus Children's Hospital and then pursued a fellowship in pediatric endocrinology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. My clinical interests include puberty disorders, adrenal disorders and bone disease.
I am board certified in general pediatrics and pediatric endocrinology. I am also a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and member of the Pediatric Endocrine Society and Endocrine Society. My work has been published in peer-reviewed journals and I have presented at medical conferences.
I am currently employed by Nicklaus Children’s Pediatric Specialists (NCPS), the physician-led multispecialty medical group practice of Nicklaus Children’s Health System. I am bilingual in English and Spanish.
