Dr. Joyce Gerdis Karp is an Attending Psychiatrist at NYU Langone Health and has had a private psychiatric practice in Manhattan for over 30 years. Her undergraduate (BA) degree is with honors from Princeton University, and her medical degree is from NYU Grossman School of Medicine. She specializes in treating disorders of eating and of mood, using psychotherapy and psychopharmacology. She has several publications and has presented on both television and radio.
