He specializes in pain medicine and is experienced in complex regional pain syndrome, spinal cord stimulation, dorsal root ganglion stimulation, intrathecal pump implantation and management, precision spinal diagnostics and therapeutics, and ketamine infusions for pain and depression. He directs a comprehensive inter-disciplinary functional rehabilitation program. He is past President of the North American Neuromodulation Society and remains active in the Society's leadership. He is past chair of the complex regional pain group of the International Association for the Study of Pain.
