He completed his medical degree at the Medical College of Georgia in 2008 and his psychiatry residency at Zucker Hillside Hospital (Northwell Health) in 2012. Dr. Morris served as an Assistant Professor at The Mount Sinai Hospital for two years before relocating back to Georgia. Since then, he has served as Medical Director at two hospitals in the Atlanta area, Ridgeview Institute - Smyrna and Piedmont Eastside Medical Center with a combined total of seven years in leadership positions. Throughout, he has worked closely with nurse practitioners and physician assistants to help them hone their skills in psychiatry. Currently, he is using his experience in academic medicine and leadership positions to start an independent venture aimed at reshaping the nature of mental health delivery.
