Summary
- I am especially interested in tissue engineered constructs and I am currently researching the application of microfluidic technology to diabetes. My other research interests include medical research related to the profiling of genetic diseases through genomics and nanotechnologies for targeted drug delivery; in addition to immunology, cancer biology, and neuroscience. My research experiences in the Duke Biology Department and Biomedical Engineering Department as well as UIC College of Medicine and Department of Medicine have emphasized multidisciplinary training and skill set.
