Summary
- Joshua M. Lawrenz, MD joined the Vanderbilt Orthopaedic Institute as an orthopaedic oncologist in 2020. His clinical interests include limb salvage surgery for pelvic and extremity soft tissue and bone sarcomas. In addition, he has an elective primary and revision total joint replacement practice. His current research interests include: the use of image-based machine learning in the diagnosis of musculoskeletal tumors; enhanced recovery after surgery for sarcoma; 5-day neoadjuvant radiation in soft tissue sarcoma; and, assessment of clinical outcomes through retrospective and prospective data collection using our 30+ year orthopaedic oncology patient database.
