• I am a Board Certified Internal Medicine Physician who worked as an Hospitalist with open ICU exclusively for 5.5 years before opening up my own Hair Restoration/Transplantation and Aesthetics Medical Office with my wife (Arezou Crose FNP). I still work 5-10 shifts monthly in the hospital but am expanding my career options and income sources. I love medical politics and was fast tracked towards upper management in both Dignity Health and Sutter Health before realizing that the current medical systems are not physician friendly and ultimately corporate profit and physician/provider exploitation-based. It is sad and most physicians don't have the desire to work in their own independent groups further perpetuating the loss of physician autonomy. I'm pro-universal care, anti-government directed/controlled health care. Physicians and Nurses, not bureaucrats need to be making decisions about the way health care is run and administered. We can do it...but it will take effort.
