- Joseph M. White, M.D., F.A.C.S., F.S.V.S., is a fellowship-trained, board certified vascular and endovascular surgeon and Associate Professor of Surgery in the Division of Vascular Surgery and Endovascular Therapy, Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. Dr. White treats patients at Suburban Hospital and provides the full spectrum of care and management for: Aortic Aneurysms, Peripheral Arterial Disease and Limb Salvage, Carotid Disease, Dialysis Access, Arterial Aneurysms, Venous Insufficiency and Thoracic Outlet Syndrome. He offers a wealth of expertise and clinical experience in both open and minimally invasive vascular procedures, and provides comprehensive, evidence-based, patient-centric treatments.
Prior to joining Johns Hopkins, Dr. White served 15 years in the United States Army, culminated at the rank of Lieutenant Colonel, as an Associate Professor of Surgery and Attending Vascular and Endovascular Surgeon at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences, Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland.
Dr. White received his degree from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science, The Chicago Medical School. He completed his General Surgery Residency at the San Antonio Military Medical Center and his Vascular Surgery Fellowship at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. He is currently a member of the Association for Academic Surgery (AAS), the American College of Surgeons (FACS) and the Society for Vascular Surgery (FSVS).
