Dr. Joseph Scherer is an ophthalmologist based in Pittsburgh, PA, with a subspecialty focus on cataract surgery utilizing premium lens implant technologies. He completed his medical education at Memorial University of Newfoundland, St. John's and his internship at Yale New Haven Hospitals, St. Raphael Campus. He completed his residency in ophthalmology at the University of Pittsburgh Eye and Ear Institute. With extensive experience in comprehensive ophthalmology, Dr. Scherer currently practices at Chang Eye Group, having also previously worked at South Hills Eye Associates.
