Dr. Joseph (Jay) McIsaac is a semi-retired anesthesiologist in Port St. Lucie, FL. He received his medical degree from University of Connecticut and has been in practice 36 years. He specializes in trauma, cardiothoracic anesthesiology and pediatric anesthesiology. He left academic/private practice in Hartford for Florida and the Jersey Shore in early 2024.

He has published 2 books, 16 chapters in other texts, co-developed 2 Patents, and 54 papers, editorials, book reviews, and abstracts.

After almost 18 years in the US Army Reserve, Jay has continued in government service with the National Disaster Medical System with the Trauma and Critical care Team.
