Summary
- Joseph L. Lin, M.D.
Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of MendMe
Joe, the creator of MendMe, is passionately overseeing the strategic growth and development of this innovative healthcare delivery platform. He is an oculofacial plastic surgeon and runs his own private practice. Joe also worked to shape healthcare delivery as a management consultant with McKinsey and Company and has advised many healthcare companies including pharmaceutical and medical insurance companies, biotechnology and private equity firms and large hospital systems. Joe has had the fortunate opportunity to practice medicine within the academic environment, a large closed health-maintenance organization (HMO), and in a community private practice, giving him a unique opportunity to observe the dynamic changes happening in today's healthcare provider environment.
Joe received his Bachelor of Arts in Biology with Honors, Cum Laude from Northwestern University. He subsequently obtained his medical degree from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Further medical training included his internship at the Columbia University/NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital, his ophthalmology residency at Yale University, and his orbital-facial plastics and reconstructive surgery fellowship at the University of California, Los Angeles. During that time, he also honed his facial cosmetic surgery skills at several top Beverly Hills private practices.
