Summary

• I have worked as a Physician Assistant and Athletic Trainer in the field of sports medicine since 2005 at the premier orthopedic group in the region. I have worked under the supervision of a fellowship trained orthopedic surgeon in the clinic and in the operating room.
  I implemented and continue to run the day-to-day operations of our Orthopedic Urgent Care. This involves diagnosing and treating a variety of orthopedic injuries, both surgical and non-surgical.
  I have a special interest in therapeutic and diagnostic injections performed under ultrasound guidance. These procedures include cortisone, viscosupplementation, arthrograms, and PRP.
  I am a preceptor for several area Physician Assistant programs with 15+ years of teaching experience. I enjoy sharing my knowledge and experience while training the next generation of PAs.
  I have worked as an expert witness putting my experience as an orthopedic PA to work in the field of medicolegal medicine. I am a current member of the APALM. (Academy of Physician Assistants in Legal Medicine)
