Mayfield Professor and Chair of Neurosurgery at the University of Cincinnati, joining in July 2017 after being at Yale University as Vice-Chair of Neurosurgery and at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine where he was Director of the Neurosurgery Spine Program. Dr. Cheng is a respected educator and has received a number of awards including being named the 2011 ACS/AANS Health Policy Scholar.
