• As a National Chief Medical Officer for Optum & UnitedHealthcare & National Vice President of Medical Benefit Management at Carelon, Joseph Carcione, DO, MBA, has been responsible for overseeing the medical management, physician operations and policy development across all lines of business (Commercial, Medicare and Medicaid plans) and has acted as corporate SME for neurology, pain management, neurophysiology, and rehabilitation.
