Summary
- I am an Assistant Professor at Columbia University’s Division of Urology at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach, FL.
I am a Miami native who completed my pre-medical undergraduate education at the University of Miami. I then earned my medical degree from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York City, where I also completed my urology residency. I then went on to complete an Endourology fellowship at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University in Providence, RI. My fellowship training concentrated on robotic surgery of the prostate, kidneys and bladder, as well as minimally invasive surgery for the treatment of kidney stones. During my time at Brown University, I also pursued a Master’s Degree in Public Health where my thesis focused on quality improvement in urologic surgery.
I am a member of the American Urological Association and the Endourological Society. I have authored or co-authored numerous peer-reviewed publications, abstracts, and book chapters on robotic surgery, kidney stone treatment, BPH, prostate cancer and renal cancer. I have also been an invited speaker at national and international conferences on these subjects.
My clinical interests include kidney stones, robotic surgery, BPH, renal cancer, and prostate cancer. My research interests include robotic surgery, kidney stone treatment, novel imaging modalities, population health, health economics, and healthcare quality improvement.
